The comedy Not Another Church Movie has been given domestic distribution rights by Briarcliff Entertainment. It is scheduled to open nationwide in theaters on May 10. According to a Deadline story, the ensemble cast of the movie includes Jamie Foxx, Vivica A. Fox, Kevin Daniels, Mickey Rourke, and more.
Kevin Daniels plays the role of Taylor Pherry, a driven young man assigned by God to uplift his neighborhood and tell the tales of his family. Mickey Rourke’s portrayal of the Devil, he doesn’t realize, has other plans. Johnny Mack’s humorous and thought-provoking film features Jamie Foxx as God.
